The Rocket Band is the proud nickname applied to all the bands and colorguard in the Judson High
School band program.  The Band Booster Club is a Texas non-profit corporation that supports and
assists the Rocket Band’s members, staff and band director. The organization provides direct
assistance by providing chaperons for many of the band functions and fund raising help to cover
additional costs. All activities of the organization are carried out with the advice and consent of the
band directors, HS and
JISD administration.

You can get on the band booster mass email list by sending your name, your child's name and
graduation year to
judsonband_org@yahoo.com.  

Questions about your child's band account or fund raisers can be emailed to the band treasurer,
Mark Mueller at
relleum@satx.rr.com.  

The Band Booster Club meets every month. Please check your monthly Band Calendar for dates.
The Band Boosters play an important role in the success of the Band and we encourage all parents
to visibly support your band member by joining the organization and actively participating in it and its
work.

  • Please remember to send in your trip payments!  The next payment is due on January 10th.  
    Make checks out to Judson Band.  Your band fees and trip payments need to be up to date by
    Wednesday, January 18, 2012 or you will be dropped from the trip.  If you are having financial
    concerns and still want to go on the trip, please talk to Mr. McDonald.  He can be contacted at the
    band hall phone 566-8473.  Please leave a message and he will return your call or you can email
    him at dmcdonald@judsonisd.org.  If you are canceling your trip reservation, you need to send a
    dated, written note or email to Mr. McDonald stating your cancellation.

  • On Sat. January 21, the 1st ever Judson Band Pancake Breakfast will be held at the Judson
    High School Cafeteria from 7:30am to 11:30am.  We will be serving ALL U CAN EAT PANCAKES &
    BISCUITS W/GRAVY, with sausage, coffee or orange juice. Tickets are only $5.00, buy 5
    tickets get one FREE.  Band students will be sent home with 5 tickets to sell in advance or you
    may purchase tickets at the door.   Invite your family and friends to come join us for a pancake &
    biscuit throw down Sat. Jan. 21st. There will be door prizes, food, & fun.  If you need more
    information or would like to volunteer to help in the kitchen, please contact me at

  • A mandatory Trip Meeting for parents and students will be held Tuesday, February 28 at 7:00 PM
    in the Band Hall.  You and your student need to be present if your student is going on the trip.
