Welcome to the October 4, 2011 Band Booster Meeting
1. Mark Mueller - Treasurer's Report
2. Tabitha Jones - Chaperons
- District training takes place every Tuesday for the month of October. You do not need
chaperon training for Rocket Review or UIL meets.
- Volunteers are needed for Rocket Review and UIL.
3. Elizabeth Adams - Uniforms
- Thanks you to all the parents that have helped withe the hemming on the uniforms.
- Show shirts are for sale for $15.00.
4. Brian Hester- Upcoming events and Misc. info
- Pizza sales will start in November. Pizza samples will be presented at the November
meeting.
- You can volunteer for work at local venues through Aramark to earn funds for your student's
account.
- Coke sales will be delivered October 7, 2011
- Cookie dough sales are due October 5, 2011
- Wagner football game - October 8, 2011
- Rocket Review - October 15, 2011
- UIL - October 22, 2011
- Homecoming - October 28, 2011
- Band Extravaganza - November 1, 2011
- New Braunfels football game - November 3, 2011
- BOA - November 4, 2011
- BOA finals announcements - November 5, 2011
- Booster club meeting - November 8, 2011
5. Mr. McDonald
- Give a great big thank you to Aaron Combs and the Load Crew
- October 1, 2011 - Band placed 3rd. They did great for the first contest of the year.
- Schedule for Houston trip - October 8, 2011
- 12:30 a.m. leave on buses
- Wake up at 6:00 a.m. for breakfast
- Unload buses at 7:00 a.m.
- Show time at 9:00 a.m.
- 5:00 p.m. Awards Announcements
- Win=set up for show. No win= load buses and go home
